Donna Gordon of NodRog Studios Artfully Blown Glass

It is only appropriate that the signature piece of this artist, be a "Heart." She traded in everything! Financial security, her home and a corporate lifestyle, to follow her dream. Donna Gordon, was once a normal person with a normal life. However, that was not enough. Something was missing. After a lot of soul searching, the answer hit like a bolt of lightening, while sitting at a traffic crossing. I am going to learn how to blow glass!! Donna knew this would be hard, and challenge her to the core, but it "felt right." The more she thought about it, the more she liked the idea. Within two years of this epiphany, the dream would be fulfilled. Teachers became her students, and owning her own studio became a reality. It was during this time that the sculptural glass hearts were created. The response was so overwhelming that it became very clear, this chosen path had taken life.......The dance between the artist and the glass continues. "It is a dance of love, for the glass will accept no less!"

The heart symbolizes love, friendship, compassion, inner strength, joy and devotion. These are the things that make our journeys meaningful. These are the things I hope to share with you. May your voyage be remarkable!!!
