Scott's Biography

Scott is a recognized art educator, teaching Middle School and High School art at Collegiate Academy in Jefferson County. He is accomplished in a wide range of media including ceramics, printmaking, photography, and watercolor. He enjoys the demands of an art educator to be proficient in a broad range of media, and the constant variety it provides.

The move to ceramics has been a recent addition to his repertoire. He designs both functional and sculptural pieces, utilizing both wheel and hand building techniques. He loves the aspect of working 3-dimensionally after years of working to create the illusion of dimension on paper.
